FUELING PROMISING CAREERS AND MILWAUKEE’S TALENT PIPELINE

MIAD seeks to enhance resources and scholarship funding for incoming and current students to increase access to our award-winning curriculum and ensure students’ success throughout the college experience.

MIAD students and graduates are a talent pipeline for Milwaukee-area companies and organizations, including GE Healthcare, Generac, GMR Marketing, Kohler, Kohl’s, the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee Public Schools, Milwaukee Tool, Northwestern Mutual, RINKA+, Trek and more.

Everywhere you look, you will find MIAD students and alumni leading in art, design and service. 80% of MIAD students remain in Milwaukee for at least their first job after graduation.

“I’m looking forward to fully joining the team of designers I’ve been working with part time as an Associate Product Designer at Kohl’s Corporation. They are all so talented and I am excited to keep learning from them.

Getting to work on such a variety of projects at MIAD and at my internships helped me figure out what parts of the design process I enjoy the most and what I am most passionate about. I have gotten to work with a lot of great people; it has helped build my skills and confidence as a designer.”
